Well, I made it through Brandon being gone for 2 long weeks. It wasn’t tooooo bad, but I certainly don’t want it to happen again anytime soon! During the last couple weeks, a lot has happened. We have a roommate, Mac took her first steps (!!!), Will had his first blood draw (not so !!!), and we are now in Hilton Head on vacation! Whew!
Our friend Kris moved in with us a week or so ago. He & his dog Pup are a great addition to the house. Kris has a new shadow too… his name is Will. 
Mac took her first steps! I unfortunately was out running errands, but Brandon captured it on video… to come soon. She’s only taken 2 or 3 at a time, but she certainly wants to move!
We are trying to figure out why Will has constant diarreha (TMI? Skip to the next paragraph). We restricted his diet to no juice at first. Didn’t seem to make a difference. Then we tried no dairy for about 10 days. Didn’t seem to make a difference. The doctor drew some blood last week to test for celiac (which I hope hope HOPE it is not) and we should find out this week.
We left for Hilton Head on Saturday. If you’re on Facebook, you know about the trials and tribulations we endured on our way down. Mac does NOT like her car seat. She screamed most of the 18 hour drive and needless to say, we were so happy to arrive at Mimi’s yesterday. We are looking forward to a few days with her before John, Heather, Armando, Jen and all that comes with them (4 kids!) join us for 5 days. Then Brandon’s parents, Ashley and our two nephews will be coming down for 3-4 days.
We spent the morning grocery shopping (gotta love double coupons at Harris Teeter!) and the afternoon at the beach and fishing/kayaking (very briefly). It was an especially big day for Will… it’s been a long time since he’s fallen asleep at the table!
