Low Fat Banana Bread

Tried a new recipe this morning because I wanted REAL sugar. However, I don’t think it added that much to the flavor. Still very good, but I think I’ll stick to my Weight Watchers1-point bread instead.

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cups white sugar
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 egg whites
1 cup banana, mashed (I just threw in 2 1/2 bananas)
1/4 cup applesauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease loaf or muffin pan. Stir together dry ingredients. Add egg whites, bananas, and applesauce. Stir until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in oven for 50-55 minutes (less for muffins) until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
